WELCOME

Welcome to our web site and to our church! When you attend for your first time or for your one hundredth time, I hope you always feel welcome. This is God's house and everyone is welcome. At our first worship service on June 25, 1978, I preached from the words of Jesus in Mark 11:17, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.' People from all nations have certainly come to our church to pray. It's our primary purpose. You're invited to join us.

DECLARATION OF FAITH

WE BELIEVE

  • in the verbal inspiration of the Bible.

  • in one God eternally existing in three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  • that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary.

  • that Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead.

  • that Jesus ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.

  • that all have sinned and that repentance is commanded of God for all.

  • that the new birth is through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

  • in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

  • in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with speaking in tongues as the initial evidence.

  • in divine healing and spiritual gifts.

  • in the premillennial second coming of Jesus.

  • in the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked.

Our church was planted in Central Islip on June 25, 1978 by Pastor David K. Fox and his wife, Linda. It began by renting an old church building at 56 Wheeler Road. A few years later property was purchased and a building was constructed at 1230 Motor Parkway. In 2005 we dedicated a new building on the same property. The continued expansion of our facilities has accompanied the growth of our congregation. In 2012, we started our spanish ministries, and the Lord has since then blessed us with many new members.

In addition to meeting the spiritual, social, and physical needs of our surrounding communities, we reach out to many parts of the world. We are part of the Church of God of Cleveland, Tennessee, a Pentecostal denomination with churches in over 160 countries.
