Young Adults
The Lighthouse Tabernacle young adult program is a way for Christians across Long Island ages 18 to mid-thirties to join together to worship God, impact our community, have fun, and maybe even meet that special someone. We have our main monthly program, Zealocity, a weekly Bible study, participate in various service projects, and hold social events where we get together just to have a good time. View our calendar for our full schedule. We hope you will join us.
For directions to our church, please visit our directions page.
If you have any questions or would like more information about our young adult program, feel free to email us at youngadults@lighttab.org. And make sure you check us out on Facebook.
Zealocity
Zealocity is our newest program, generally held the first Friday of every month at 9 pm in the chapel (unless noted otherwise on the calendar). Join us for a time of worship and fellowship in a coffee house setting, open to all young adults.
Bible Study
Christian young adults all have the same questions: "What am I supposed to do with my life? Who does God want me to marry? What does it really mean to be a Christian? How can I help change the world around me?"
Join us as we discuss how the Bible answers these and many other questions and how to apply it to our lives every Wednesday night at the church at 7:30 pm. We meet in an informal and unintimidating atmosphere where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions.
For more information or directions, please contact one of the young adult leaders or email us at youngadults@lighttab.org.
Service Projects
We believe strongly in serving God by serving others. Here are some of the ministries and organizations we currently support or have supported in the past: Blood Water Mission, Habitat for Humanity, Island Harvest, Lighthouse Mission, and New York Blood Center.
We are also very active in our own church and communty by assisting our other ministries, leading worship on Sundays, gathering food and clothing for the needy, and such.
